To support our goals around innovation and learning and development, the Learning Experience Design Team is seeking an entry level Visual Designer.

In this role you will be accountable for the development of visual assets that contribute to our learning products. You will collaborate with peers across learning design on branding and development, iteratively build assets aligned to sub-brands and participate fully in the creative services team projects. While your core strength is within Visual Design, as a member of the team, you are accountable to communicate clearly with peers and work in a flexible manner to ensure we deliver engaging and motivating learning experiences.

Job Description

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and ideate effective visual design assets across mediums including, but not limited to: digital learning experiences, job aids, eLearning modules, video content, eBooks, print collateral, PowerPoint training presentations and the UX/UI of microsites.
  • Apply your solid understanding of typography, photography, graphic design and Internal branding to all visual assets
  • Work collaboratively with other designers on concepts and development
  • Communicates visual asset development progress to partners - maintaining a facilitative approach, listening for both passive and active feedback and iterating based on that feedback along the way.
  • Ensure alignment with brand standards, design standards and guidelines throughout all phases of development and production.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 0-3 years working job history in visual design or related field
  • Proven ability to develop graphics and layouts to support learning products in a range of formats: pdf, websites, e-learnings, e-books, etc. and iterate based on feedback
  • Basic knowledge in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere and/or other similar programs
  • Solid understanding and command of graphic design principles, visual hierarchy, typography and color theory
  • Must have an excellent visual portfolio.
  • Ability to clearly articulate rationale behind visual design decisions
  • A growth mindset and staying current with the latest visual design technologies and trends.

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Graphic Design or related field
  • Experience designing for Learning & Development, HR or Talent products
  • Basic Knowledge of Articulate Rise and Storyline
  • Basic Knowledge of Instructional Design
  • Experience in design of motion graphics and video production
  • Understanding of the user-centered design process

Compensation

National Pay Range: $53,606.85 USD-$125,641.05 USD

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
