Ohme has been selling its chargers to consumers since mid-2019 and has had exponential growth since. We are now operating in multiple countries and have partnerships with the likes of Octopus Energy, Motability, Volkswagen Group, Volvo Belux and other innovative automotive brands.

We are looking for a Key Account Manager to join our Sales Team in London.

This is a Hybrid position with 4 days in the office.

Requirements

We are looking for an Account Manager to support the Head of Distribution Sales in identifying, developing and growing these accounts. This role requires enthusiasm for relationships and an understanding that these are what help to drive long term value for the business. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about customers, energy and wants to be part of disrupting the energy and mobility sectors with technology.

What we want in your first 6 months at Ohme:

  • Account Management: Strengthen relationships with key customers and their associated stakeholders, moving beyond price to build strategic partnerships
  • Business Development: Identify customers Ohme should form a relationship with, prospect and convert customers to Ohme Identify new sales opportunities and work to deliver these into the business.
  • Undertake visits to customers and deliver training where required.
  • Ensure you are diligently developing sales pipelines with customers – from initial enquiry handling through to purchase to meet and ideally exceed targets set.
  • Offer 10/10 customer service at all times. Uphold the Ohme team values and ensure our customers feel valued.
  • Work closely with the wider sales team & customer support team.
  • Continuously improve and develop the efficiency of your own processes.

What skills and experience you should have to fit this role:

  • Sales skills: Previous experience in a sales role. Demonstrate an ability to read people and clearly articulate how our proposition can help the customer.
  • Self-Starter: Comfortable cold-calling and generating new leads.
  • Outgoing and personable: Be comfortable meeting new people and starting conversations. Be able to be authentic and genuine to build relationships.
  • Familiar with CRM systems and practices.
  • Excellent communicator, both in writing and on the phone.
  • Experience working with specific targets (and exceeding them).
  • A start-up/entrepreneurial mindset being able to adjust to change and keep up with a fast-moving business.
