The Job

You are passionate about the brands you represent and are looking to continue to grow and develop your career. You enjoy networking, hunting for and nurturing key stakeholder relationships. You have experience in a consultative sales process either remotely or in person. You are an expert at positioning a compelling value proposition to single decision-makers right up to large buyer groups. You seamlessly handle objections and close sales, meaning that you are a confident and experienced negotiator.
As an inside sales representative, you will work with our existing customers looking for opportunities to identify needs within their business and communicate the value proposition to our customers. You should be able to generate new leads, and maintain your relationship with customers including engagement in license negotiations, discussing value propositions, identifying potential cross and up selling opportunities ensuring that tasks and sales are within product scope, and collaboration between the customer and other simPRO departments to ensure all customer needs are met.

What You’ll Do

  • Gain core simPRO software and products knowledge in order to best address customer needs

  • Ensure development of business within the existing customer database and achieve sales targets

  • Understand trade contracting and field service business workflows to promote product benefits

  • Assess client and stakeholder needs

  • Contribute to and execute a sales plan with monthly and quarterly activity updates to expand business within existing accounts

  • Participate in weekly and monthly one-on-one and team meetings and training sessions to ensure ongoing improvement and best-practice sharing

  • Execute campaigns, activities and processes to build and nurture a pipeline of opportunities, ensuring a high conversion rate to qualified lead status and close a high proportion of deals to ensure above quota results are consistently achieved

  • Any additional tasks as assigned by your manager

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar, business development role

  • Experience working with business process software

  • CRM use experience

  • An understanding of business processes and workflows

  • Strong understanding of internet-based technologies and systems

  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

  • High attention to detail regarding documentation and processes

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to perform well in a team dynamic

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and changing schedules

  • Eagerness and enthusiasm to learn

  • Must be able to constantly operate a computer, phone, and other office productivity machinery

  • Must be able to exchange accurate information in all communication with customers
