ClickSend is a global cloud-based SaaS communications platform for businesses and developers that enables companies of all shapes and sizes to easily and cost effectively communicate with their customers and staff via multiple channels. ClickSend has SMS at its core and powers billions of messages annually but has expanded to become a true all-in-one multi-channel business communications platform offering SMS, MMS, RCS, Email, Voice, Fax and Post by dashboard, API or hundreds of integrations.

The APAC Key Account Manager has the responsibility of managing a territory of high value SMB accounts for ClickSend’s APAC region. Retention and development of existing accounts is a key part of our overall growth strategy. You will be responsible for day-to-day account management of your nominated accounts and success will be measured by your ability to retain and grow these accounts.


Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate regular key account outreach to identify and execute opportunities to grow our existing accounts by building trust and engagement
  • Position yourself as a trusted advisor to your customers to understand their challenges and goals
  • Continually learn in order to establish yourself as an expert resources for the technologies and solutions we sell
  • Develop Quarterly Briefing Reporting decks and present the to your key accounts in order to further their understanding of ClickSend’s capabilities.


To be successful in this role you will have proven Account Management experience working across a variety of verticals. You are a solutions focused seller that understands the customers problems, creates solutions and can communicate ROI and demonstrates the ability to negotiate. You are driven to expand customer relationships, find growth opportunities and prospect deeper within an account. You are numbers driven and report literate. Churn metrics, Retention ratios and Pipeline Analysis are part of your vernacular. Ideally, you would have familiarity with Salesforce, Intercom, Slack and the general ability to navigate across a rather big tech stack. You love to learn and continually seek to understand how things work. You are self-disciplined, organized and loathe micromanagement (because you don’t need it). Obviously, you have excellent written and verbal communication skills and you can hold your own in a presentation online or in person. You are a motivated professional, ready to manage our best accounts.
