Kinesiologist (1 Year Limited Tenure)

Job Description

Participates as a team member or a team leader in the collection, analysis, organization and presentation of research and clinical data acquired from normal subjects and patients for numerous research protocols as well as clinical evaluations; disciplines include orthopedics, neurology, physical medicine, etc. Collects, validates, consolidates and analyzes data from a wide variety of sources, including: motion analysis systems, electromyography, plantar pressure equipment, electromechanical strength testing equipment, manual measurements, physical exams, and patient x-rays and medical records. Has primary responsibility for calibration, periodic maintenance, and data collection, and shared responsibility with lab engineers and programmers for troubleshooting computer hardware/software and other equipment used in the motion and strength testing labs. Maintains an effective working relationship with numerous personnel in the clinical and research community to facilitate study coordination, testing, and facility/equipment selection, installation and maintenance.
