Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-orientedHousekeeper / Kitchen & School Supportteam member to join our school community. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for children, staff, and families. This position may also include kitchen and preschool support duties, which require avalid food handler certificate. Key Responsibilities • Perform daily cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in classrooms, restrooms, and common areas. • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas in compliance with health and safety regulations. • Launder linens and other materials to support hygiene and comfort standards. • Assist with waste disposal and custodial duties, including sweeping, mopping, and surface disinfection. • Monitor and restock cleaning and kitchen supplies as needed. • Support meal preparation and food service for children (must have a valid food handler certificate). • Collaborate with school staff to promote a welcoming and nurturing environment. • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a healthy school setting. Requirements • Previous experience in residential, commercial, or school cleaning preferred. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety standards. • Validfood handler certificate(required for candidates assisting with kitchen or preschool support). • Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with staff and families. • Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team. • Familiarity with cleaning tools, equipment, and safe chemical use is a plus.
