Kitting Cage Associate / Order Puller

We are looking for an energetic Order Picker to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of products. You will operate warehouse equipment to build and send appropriate orders. An order picker must be always on time and able to work long hours on their feet. They are strong and deft with an ability to "pick up" on small details. We also expect you to be "picky" when it comes to ensuring the quality of orders. Responsibilities include but not limited to storing materials, picking, packing and scanning orders, updating inventory counts in the inventory system and moving products throughout the warehouse to the staging area. Ultimately, you will work with a small team to ensure customer orders are fulfilled correctly.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Update stock inventory after each item is retrieved.
• Manage stock control, including item replenishment and storage.
• Perform general warehouse duties as necessary.
• Receive and check incoming pick tickets.
• Locate products using technology.
• Re-stock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment
• Keep records of completed orders.
• Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions.
• Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards.
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
• Complete diary logs into inventory
• Report any discrepancies.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels and suggest new orders when needed.
• Document orders, materials, and any stock movements

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Proven work experience as an order picker/puller, warehouse worker, or similar role

Ability to lift heavy objects and stand on your feet for extended periods of time

Operate computer systems to update the inventory management system as needed

Proven experience as order picker or other warehouse position

Able to read and write in English

Great attention to detail

Good physical strength and stamina

Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems

Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods preferred

Good organizational and time management skills

Availability to occasionally work overtime
