What you can expect

Joining the team you will design, develop, and maintain software systems for building, managing, and querying knowledge graphs. You'll also implement efficient data pipelines to integrate diverse data sources into the knowledge graph.
It's this individual's responsibility to develop and optimize graph traversal, query, and indexing algorithms to ensure fast data retrieval and scalability. It's also expected that you collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, machine learning engineers, and backend engineers this will allow you to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

About the Team

We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer (SE) to contribute to the design, development, and optimization of our knowledge graph infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a background in software engineering with experience in graph data structures, databases, and algorithms. You will collaborate with others to build systems that integrate data into our knowledge graph platform.

What we’re looking for

• Have a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience (5+ years) in software development, with a focus on large-scale data systems, knowledge graphs or graph-based technologies.

• Display skills in programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or C++.

• Understand graph data structures, algorithms, and graph database technologies (e.g., Neo4j, JanusGraph, Amazon Neptune).

• Demonstrate experience with database systems (SQL and NoSQL), data modeling techniques, and graph query languages such as Cypher, Gremlin, or SPARQL.

• Exhibit knowledge of API design and microservices architecture.

• Display problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Possess communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$98,900.00

Maximum:

$228,700.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
