Knowledge Manager

The Capital Area Division (CAD) of Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is seeking an energetic Knowledge Manager in the implementation and operations of knowledge management systems including tools and processes. Thr right candidate will oversee all knowledge-related activities including management, capturing, sharing, and accessibility of knowledge assets. This person will provide on-site support to the Office of the Secretary of Defense in the Washington, D.C. area.

This position requires a candidate with experience performing a variety of program functions, including:

• Knowledge management support, in the form of records planning and management, strategy development and implementation
• Content management system support to ensure the smooth and efficient integration of information and knowledge throughout office business processes.
• Workflow coordination activities across the office
• Metrics development and capture for business intelligence analysis

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or Certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Programming, or a related Technical Field
• 8+ years of relevant experience
• Must be a US Citizen
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance
• Having strong written and verbal communications skills
• Experience with SharePoint O365 and legacy systems

Desired Qualifications:

• Familiarity with data repositories and capabilities to index and archive developed products and information
• Familiarity with ADVANA
• Familiarity with database development and related languages such as SQL and VisualBasic

This position is contingent upon award of a contract (one base year + four option years) expected in August 2023 supporting the Department of Defense.
