Summary
This National Guard position is for a Knowledge Operations (Title 32), Position Description Number D2532000and is part of 151 MSG located in SLC UT, with the Utah Air National Guard.
This vacancy is OPEN to the public, to those in the UTANG or willing to join.

- National Guard Membership is required.
- Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
- Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
- May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.

- This position is eligible to be in the union.
- Position may be telework eligible after completion of probationary period.
- Must be certified IAW DoD 8570.01-M, Federal Information Security Management Act of 2002, Clinger Cohen Act of 1996 and obtain Special Experience Identifier (SEI) 264, IAW current AF directives. Information Assurance - Technical Level II (IAT II), IAW current AF directives.
- Conducts travel to and from offsite worksite(s) from the normal work area to perform assigned duties. This may include Operating Locations (OL) and/or Geographically Separated Units (GSU). Due to distances involved, travel may involve one or more overnight stays.
- Irregular and/or overtime (compensatory) hours may be required to support operational requirements or contingencies or may be required to work hours outside of the normal duty day.
- The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments.
- Individual must possess a secret clearance and may be required to obtain a top secret clearance with eligibility to access sensitive compartmented information (TS-SCI).
Qualifications
**Must include beginning and ending dates of employment stated as MM/YYYY; and total hours worked per week in order to determine part time vs. full time credit.
Specialized Experience GS 9:
1 year as a GS-0308-7? *Must submit SF 50 to validate claim*
OR Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled:
- Ability to assist in the management of the Records Management (RM) and Records Life Cycle Program.
- Ability to manage reports, matrices, and requests for information, as well as collaborative planning tools to ensure timely delivery of decision-quality information to organizational stakeholders.
- Skill in providing customer service by assisting and educating users on authoritative data sources, data services, and presentation tools to meet organizational objectives.
- Knowledge of management and information sharing practices.

OR Experience that equips the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled:
- Skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques to the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems of a procedural or factual nature.
- Knowledge of the theory and principles of management and organization, including administrative practices and procedures common to organizations, such as those pertaining to areas of responsibility, channels of communication, delegation of authority, routing of correspondence, filing systems, and storage of files and records.
- Experience using qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques such as: literature search; work measurement; task analysis and job structuring; productivity charting; determining staff to workload ratios (e.g., span of control); organization design; space planning; development and administration of questionnaires; flowcharting of work processes; graphing; and calculation of means, modes, standard deviations, or similar statistical measures.
- Skill in conducting interviews with supervisors and employees to obtain information about organizational missions, functions, and work procedures.
Education
Substitute for specialized experience -
GS 9:
Have a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related.
GS 11:
Have a Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related?
