What you’ll do
- Help address incoming KYC related requests required to establish and maintain bank, broker and trading relationships across the Firm globally
- Coordinate the collection and distribution of all KYC information required for client onboarding, periodic reviews, and bespoke requests sent by counterparties
- Collaborate with Compliance, Tax, Legal, Investor Relations, Finance etc. to obtain necessary documentation for account opening (g., tax forms, withholding statements, beneficial ownership information, constituent documents, names of directors and other key employees, financial performance information, IDs for key management etc.)
- Monitor and analyze regulatory updates (g., FinCEN, HKMA, FINRA etc.) to assess the impact on KYC/onboarding obligations
- Document KYC/AML policies and procedures by updating internal guidelines
- Work with the KYC Manager to develop and fine tune workflows regarding KYC responses to increase standardization across the Firm and continue to promote the growth of a centralized KYC/onboarding team
- Support various administrative tasks in connection with KYC related responsibilities
- Assist with projects and initiatives to improve the KYC process and broader workflows as relevant opportunities arise
 What’s required
- 2+ years of onboarding, client outreach or similar experience at a hedge fund or broker dealer
- Familiarity with hedge fund structure, investor relations roles, as well as financial products
- General understanding of global AML/KYC regulations including those issued by FinCEN, HKMA and FINRA etc.
- Process driven with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on being pragmatic and solutions driven
- Self-starter that is comfortable working independently but also has exceptionally strong interpersonal skills and a positive team approach
- Ability to see processes wholistically and identify areas of potential improvements
- Proven organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to develop relationships with all stakeholders, both across the Firm and externally with counterparties

The annual base salary range for this role is $110,000-$135,000, which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
