L3 Support Engineer

Project Description

RTB Engineer is responsible for providing L3 application support for the micro-segmentation product. We are looking for someone with 5-6+ years of experience, able to function as an independent member of the team handling escalations from L2 support team, diagnose issues and identify root cause.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose micro-segmentation product escalations from L2 support teams for resolution• Report and escalate issues to vendor support (TAM) when necessary• Ensure critical KPI, SLA and deliverables are met on a periodic basis for the micro-segmentation application.• Network traffic flow analysis

Skills

Must have

Troubleshooting (AIX, Linux, Solaris, Windows - This is a must for all 4 Operating systems for agent troubleshooting)
+7 years Linux Administration (Ubuntu preferred but not mandatory)
Docker / Nomad Experience
Experience with REST API troubleshooting
Familiarity with SDLC
Familiarity with Agile scrum methodologies
Scripting (Bash, Python, Ansible)
Strong understanding of Firewalls
Previous experience with Guardicore or Illumio (Micro-segmentation principals)
Familiar with Strace (system calls) and tcpdump (network) troubleshooting
Strong understanding and troubleshooting of kernel-based issues
Ability to communicate high-level and low-level requirements to end users
