The Lab Manager - is responsible for leading the lab test facilities planning, implementation, leading to develop test plans and test procedures for different levels of product on EVs, ESS and BMS, leading the activities to comply with safety and security protocols and track record of executing testing and maintenance in a safe manner, managing lab engineers and technicians to do product quality troubleshooting and documentation, leading to manage lab budgets with quality. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead to build up-to-date testing facilities to match with business growth demand
• Lead to develop test plans, test procedures, work instructions for different levels of product on EVs, ESS and BMS,etc
• Lead the activities to comply with safety rules, security protocols and track record of executing testing and maintenance in a safe manner
• Manage lab engineers and technicians to do product performance evaluation, quality troubleshooting and documentation key findings and report out
• Manage lab budget properly and implement activities within approved range
• Collaborate with R&D, product management team, product quality team, product after sales technical service to improve customer satisfaction
• Support product field issue analysis at lab or on-site
• Lead to improve lab and or workshop activities to promote work efficiency
• Be agile and flexible to take additional tasks to support quick growth business area.

Required Qualifications:

• Fluency in English
• Master degree, ideally in engineering, etc
• Experience working with high voltage system
• Experience with lab setup, data acquisition equipment, and test setups
• Experience on HV battery/ ESS BMS diagnostic is plus
• Minimum 4-7 years of job experience (in new energy vehicle development center, battery system design, system sizing, BMS, testing, energy storage system solution designer/provider, or similar industrial environment and/or with product experience a plus)
• Minimum 3-5 years of project experience
• Results orientation, safety compliance mindset
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Conflict management skills: ability to prevent and solve conflicts.
• Ability to work in a matrix organization.

For this position, the reasonably expected pay range is between $­­­­ 110,000 and $ 140,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
