Role: Lab Technician 

Location: Palo Alto, CA

Duration: Longtetrm Contract 

Job duties:

Testing and inspection.

• Build and prepare samples for testing.

• Follow instructions to run tests, record data, and monitor ongoing tests.

• Inspect hardware samples for defects and operational issues.

· Use basic hand tools, power tools, and electrical tools to support testing and test setup development.

Equipment maintenance :

• Troubleshoot and fix equipment issues, including identifying and installing replacement parts or coordinating repair work with external vendors.

Lab organization :

• Organize, clean up, and optimize lab layout.

• Work with engineers to plan, install, and bring up new test and inspection equipment and associated facilities.

Experience & desired attributes :

• Experience working in a reliability or hardware testing lab —5 years.

• Familiarity with test and inspection equipment:

• Temperature & humidity chambers.

• Mechanical test stations.

• Weathering chambers with a Dl water filtration system.

Optical microscope

• Familiarity with lab tools:

• Basic hand tools.

• Basic power tools (band saw, mitre saw, sander).
