General Purpose of Job: As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in various construction projects, assisting skilled tradespeople and ensuring that work sites are safe and organized. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship. Responsibilities • Assist in the construction and demolition of structures as directed by supervisors. • Perform general labor tasks including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and cleaning work areas. • Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to minimize hazards. • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule. • Load and unload materials from trucks or storage areas as needed. • Report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions to supervisors promptly. • Alignment to Clark Standards of Excellence: Self-Motivated, Results Oriented, Adaptable, Team Player, Accountable, Ethical, Innovative, Resilient, Builds Relationships Qualifications • Previous experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not required. • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods. • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is a plus. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. • Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions accurately. • Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic. • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
