As the Landside Transport Growth Enablement Manager, you will be responsible for leading the growth of Maersk transport services across the Hinterlands of Southern Africa. This role will be required to develop and execute strategic initiatives to expand our market presence in Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi and Mozambique.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in the landside transport sector.

  • Develop and implement product strategies that enhance service offerings and drive revenue growth.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and marketing, to ensure successful product launches and ongoing performance.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities, logistics providers, and clients.

  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to optimize product performance and customer satisfaction.

  • Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in service delivery and operational efficiency.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Someone with:

  • At least 5 – 10 years’ commercial and operational experience in cross-border trucking and commodity handling

  • Solid understanding of local market landscape, customer industry needs and requirements for the landside transport product

  • Commercial engagement at a senior level

  • Stakeholder management

  • Financial acumen

  • Proactive/self-starter
