Job Description

The Product Sales Sr Group Mgr manages multiple teams through other managers. In-depth understanding of how own sub-function contributes to achieving the objectives of the function. Reporting to the LATAM eTCG (ecommerce, Technology, Communications and Gamming) Sales head. This role will be responsible for prospecting with unassigned clients (L2 and L3) in the sector, partnering with Solution Sales teams on strategic and complex deals for eTCG as well as Corporate, Public Sector and CCB clients, and responding to RFPs for clients where ecommerce type of solutions are required.

Responsibilities:
  • Leadership role for a team of product sales professionals
  • Determine and deliver the sales plan/pipeline goals of the business in conjunction with Product Heads
  • Develop and execute on a pipeline of client prospects, sufficient to provide required business growth
  • Expertise across Citi's TTS offering with focus on EB as delivery channel
  • Capacity to enhance and customize user experience by showing Clients/users the right solutions for their day-to-day processes
  • Manage a team of sales managers who achieve aggressive revenue goals, measured and rewarded against set targets
  • Product experts that can sit with our clients and make sure that they are adopting our products to their full potential
  • Monitor and understand customer needs, market and economic trends as well as business opportunities and threats
  • Coordinate internally to drive timely and flawless execution of client mandates
  • Adopt and leverage new marketing strategies such as partnerships, conferences, advisory boards
  • Embed quality in client touch-points including proposals and presentations
  • Develop sales talent through active coaching, leading training opportunities and attracting top sales talent
  • Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
  • Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; and ensure that all team members understand the need to do the same, demonstrating proper consideration for the firm's reputation
  • Be familiar with and adhere to Citi's Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services; and ensure that all team members understand the need to do the same
  • May also create and implement broader strategy across a segment or multiple geographies
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.


Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of experience, including managerial experience
  • Proven track record in cross cultural and matrix business settings.
  • Formulation and implementation of business strategy across all corporate customer segments.
  • Experience in Product Management and/or Product Development discipline
  • Experience with and confidence in delivering presentations to clients and senior managers
  • Required to think beyond existing solutions, assumptions or current knowledge of sophisticated areas
  • Deep, broad and diverse functional experience (e.g., marketing, credit, acquisitions, product development and analytics) with a track record of driving business innovation and leveraging management information and data analytics to drive results;
  • Proven track record as an action-oriented individual who has led cross-functional teams to define and achieve high value business objectives and ability to work independently, with follow through and capable of owning and managing projects from end-to-end
  • Experience with ERP and Treasury Management Systems and their integration protocols with electronic banking platforms.
  • Significant experience in use cases and applicability of API (Application programming interface)

  • Presenting technical topics to a non-technical audience.
  • Team-working skills across different cultures, functional partners and multiple levels of seniority.
  • Cross-functional experience across other transaction banking Products and Solutions.

Language Skills
  • Completely fluent in English and Spanish. Portuguese is desire.


Edducation:
  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred and managerial experience
