Law Department (Houston)
Disciplines: Pre-Law related majors (Political Science, English, History, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Business/Economics, etc.) 
Our Law Department advises on and assists management with a broad spectrum of legal matters. The attorneys in the Law Department hold high levels of expertise in different areas of the law complementing the Company's diverse needs, and each lawyer also serves as a back-up to the Department's primary legal contact in any given specialty.

Summer Student Law Opportunity
Summer students will work closely with attorneys in a wide variety of tasks and activities. Assignments may be given with minimal direction; therefore, the student must determine the best way to achieve goal and deliver final work product.

Typical activities Include:

• Perform various tasks and complete projects assigned by members within the Legal Department
• Review contracts/agreements or other legal documents and files
• Conduct legal research
• Preparation of summary memos or e-mails
• Generate spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations and other analysis
• Independently decide how to best present requested data and/or project results to assigning attorney, e.g., memo, spreadsheet, e-mail or verbal report
• Comply and follow all procedures within the company policy
