Job Description

We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Legal Team of Ignitis Renewables Latvia, where you’ll take care of providing legal support for wind and solar projects, ensuring compliance, and actively coordinating and reviewing agreements. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

• Providing legal assistance for wind and solar green field projects, focusing on environmental, equipment supply, construction, and general commercial matters
• Ensuring the legality of business activities and documentation
• Coordinating, drafting, and reviewing agreements in both Latvian and English
• Collaborating with legal advisors, regulators, management, and other stakeholders on various legal matters.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Law (preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years of legal experience, ideally in construction, land and general commercial matters
• Experience in the energy sector is considered an advantage
• Proficiency in Latvian and English (oral and written) as this role involves regular communication with international colleagues and partners
• Strong ability to multitask, work independently and collaboratively within a project-based environment, and effectively manage stakeholder expectations.
