Job Description:

As a Learning and Development Program Manager (supporting People Leader HR Services (PLHRS)), you will be responsible for planning, developing and curating training content on a variety of human resources topics to enable PLs in their role, as well as PLHRS to help increase the leadership capability of our L4 and below people leaders at HPE, and lead the expansion of a vehicle for developing candidates for future HRBL/P roles through people leader exposure, broad expertise and mentorships. You will be working across HR - HR business leaders, HR business partners, AskHR and HPE Open Line - to facilitate collaborative working relationships while ensuring execution of people leader solutions and program alignment. This role will report to the Director, People Leader HR Services (PLHRS).

Purpose

People Leader HR Services (PLHRS) provides easy access to dedicated, trained and experienced advisors ready to provide the HR support people leaders need to manage performance, and coach and develop their team members, wherever they are based.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple large projects and programs with global and cross-organizational program teams on needs assessment, intervention selection, design, development, implementation, reporting, and continuous innovation and improvement of learning solutions
  • Manage PLHRS learning and development program lifecycle from strategy development to implementation
    • Leverage innovative and compelling learning methodologies
    • Collaborate with HR stakeholders (HRBL/P) for successful design and delivery processes, and creating custom solutions for business and functional needs
    • Support delivery of proactive training/coaching of PLs (one to many)
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge database for PLHRS advisors
  • Institute and oversee a robust competency assurance structure/assessment for PLHRS
  • Routinely develop and introduce innovative methods and processes for improving program operations
  • Ensures alignment of program priorities with business and L&D strategies
  • Stay abreast of current L&D trends, provide thought leadership, and consult on areas of expertise throughout the organization

Education and Experience required:

  • First-level university degree or equivalent experience. Master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years related experience in compensation, benefits, human resources.
  • Experience in cross-functional areas, such as compensation, benefits, staffing, L&D, recruiting, preferred.
  • 5+ years of L&D experience
  • Previous leadership and/or training experience preferred.

Job Family Definition:

Responsible for overseeing and managing programs and projects related to training across the Learning Solution Lifecycle (LSL). Partners with L&D Business/Function, HRGO, Centers of Expertise, and/or other internal and external partners and stakeholders to create strategic and operational planning of training and related programs. Identifies requirements of training products and/or services and manages the operational structure necessary to meet learning and development objectives. Plans and develops training programs and/or related operational systems and processes to meet target audience needs, and to ensure the quality of design and development of training and operations on behalf of the company. Develops and maintains client, partner, and stakeholder relationships through partnering, coaching, and facilitating to identify, prioritize, and implement development solutions, operational systems, and processes.

Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. Annual Salary: $98,000.00 - $225,500.00
