The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead .NET Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage the Microsoft technology stack to design, develop, and implement mission-critical Azure-based software solutions. Your deep expertise and leadership will be crucial in steering our projects towards success, ensuring the delivery of top-tier applications for our ever-growing global business teams.

Your responsibilities will be to:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, business users, and other engineers, to understand requirements, design specifications, and develop technical solutions.
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of scalable and robust solutions using .NET, Azure, and other languages/technologies in the Microsoft technology stack.
- Mentor less experienced .NET software engineers, providing guidance on best practices, coding standards, and architectural design.
- Produce high-quality, clean, and maintainable end-to-end software solutions with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.
- Identify and resolve complex technical issues, troubleshoot software defects, and optimize application performance in both new and existing applications.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies, trends, and advancements in the .NET ecosystem, and proactively propose new options the team should explore.
- Actively participate in agile development practices, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups, to ensure timely and successful project outcomes.

Your background will include:
- 15+ years of experience in software development leveraging the Microsoft technology stack.
- Expertise in C#, .NET Core, and .NET Framework for both web application back-end development as well as βUI-lessβ console applications and services.
- Significant experience in developing web applications utilizing ASP.NET Core Blazor, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, React, Angular and core front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS).
- Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) and experience with ORM frameworks (e.g., Entity Framework).
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, design patterns, and software architecture.
- Proven experience in leading development teams and managing technical projects.
- Proven experience with scalable software architectures, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
- Comprehensive knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proven ability to address and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Python for software development and data analysis.
- R programming for data analysis and statistical modeling.
- Understanding of data warehousing technologies, including ETL processes.
- Experience with ML.net or other AI technologies/platforms.
