We're looking to add an experienced Lead Accountant to our team. We'd like someone who is a thoughtful and analytical thinker. Someone who has an amazing eye for detail, is highly organized, and knows how to tell a story with numbers. We need an accountant who's not afraid to ask questions and enjoys looking for ways to do things better. Sure, there are spreadsheets to build and journal entries to book, but we are looking for someone who enjoys digging into analysis and understanding the business.

You'll work on account reconciliations, month-end close tasks, and analytics. You may own fixed assets, expense reporting, and purchase card management; you might even take a deep dive into procure-to-pay (P2P), providing support to the accounts payable team when needed. There will not be a corner of the balance sheet that goes untouched by your work, but you will also partner with colleagues cross-functionally to help solve process issues. From a little bit of cost accounting to some revenue recognition (ASC 606!) work, you will gain a breadth of experience and knowledge you would be challenged to get at another organization.

What we would like you to bring to the table

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• 5+ years' experience as a Lead/Senior Accountant preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working within an ERP system.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience working with external auditors related to financial and compliance audits.
• Ability to assess problem situations, generate practical solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem.
• Strong analytical & independent problem-solving skills to evaluate financial results.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, and the ability to document accounting policies and position work papers.
• Enjoys improving processes and collaborating on projects.
• A positive problem-solving attitude and a willingness to jump in and get the job done.

Status - Full time Hybrid work environment

COMPENSATION - $80,000-92,000
