Lead Accounts Receivable Representative

Be a part of our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific India Private Limited in Indianapolis and play a valuable role in making a difference to the world. As a Lead Accounts Receivable Representative, you will be responsible for surpassing collection targets and ensuring flawless AR processes.

Responsibilities:

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly collection targets.
• Perform strong AR follow-ups for the division.
• Maintain Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) as per company policy.
• Identify causes for nonpayment and communicate issues for corrective actions.
• Conduct accounts ledger scrutiny and customer reconciliations.
• Complete weekly reviews of accounts to reduce unapplied cash and advances.
• Continuously improve AR processes through technology or quality improvements.
• Lead or participate in special projects as needed.
• Conduct regular reviews with team members to improve efficiency.
• Hold periodic meetings with key customers and visit branch offices.

Requirements:

• 06 to 08 years of accounts receivable experience.
• Proven ability to chair meetings with team members and other departments.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Good proficiency in Excel.
• Working knowledge of SAP is preferable but not mandatory.
• Experience with AR collections software/tools is an added advantage.
