We are the BNY Mellon Treasury Services team!

We are a small business (~450 people) inside of a large company with a lot of exciting growth in our future. As a lead analyst with our team, you will be a key contributor to solving our organization's most important problems by leveraging data and creating analytical insights to inform our strategies. In this position you will gain hands-on experience working with global teams, large complex data sets, and structuring disparate data sources. The insights you develop will be immediately put into place to help our clients and to grow revenue for our business. You will work with a small team of highly valued top performers in a collaborative, data-driven environment and will have access to our executive leadership.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Analyze sales, financial, and product data to inform business growth strategies
  • Partner with global teams to identify growth opportunities and develop analytical insights to enable execution of special projects
  • Work cross functionally across sales, product, finance, digital, and marketing teams to support revenue growth initiatives
  • A portion of candidates time will be spent on BAU reporting needs of the organization utilizing data tools such as Excel and Tableau
  • This role will work closely and primarily with senior managers and executives
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Tableau Prep, Power BI, etc)
  • Experience in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office products
  • Experience with a CRM system preferred but not necessary (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, etc)
  • Great analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong management and organizational skills
  • Adaptable and capable of working in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to draw conclusions based on data insights and communicate in a straightforward manner to the sales team and broader business / company
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced degree in quantitative analysis preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience preferred. Experience in quantitative finance and technology preferred.
