What you'll do on a typical day:
- Supports a team of analysts driving improvements in productivity and efficiency while also focusing on professional development, helping to build the next generation of leaders
- Drives a competitive advantage that translates into actionable items and assists analysts with problem-solving
- Leverages a variety of reports and analyzes changes in the competitive landscape to identify high-level trends and strategies to make evidence-based decisions and drive revenue growth
- Engages with business counterparts, both internal and external, to develop a relationship with partner teams including Linehaul, Sales, and HR to identify opportunities to improve revenue and team performance.
- Collaborates with Pricing & Sales Leadership to grow profitable business and ensure timely responses on the most significant opportunities
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience
- 43 years of professional experience in quantitative analysis
- Demonstrated ability to derive insight from large datasets, formulate solutions, and drive action
- Solid grasp of economics and supply chains
- Working knowledge of contractual language and agreements
- Highly organized work style with proven ability to multitask
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
It'd be great if you also have:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics. Economics, or Mathematics
- Master's degree
- 4 years of professional experience in quantitative analysis in the transportation field
- Experience with SQL and statistical packages
- Prior leadership experience
- Experience with Python/R/SAS
