Eaton's Corporate Sector is currently seeking a Lead Analyst- Treasury to join our team. This position is based at our Beachwood, OH location. Hybrid work schedule available, from Beachwood, OH.

Position Overview:

Join the Corporate Treasury Department at Eaton and help positively impact the company as we undergo a finance transformation, working to respond quickly to challenging business requirements. This role, reporting to the Sr. Manager of Treasury Initiatives, will participate on key Treasury and Corporate wide projects including, but not limited to, working capital optimization, cash flow forecasting, bank account structure, and other strategic initiatives. The incumbent will leverage their skills and experience in both financial and data analysis to support the enterprise in optimizing the efficiency and value of the Treasury function. The incumbent will receive cross-functional exposure and the opportunity to develop a diverse skillset that maximizes their potential for a variety of future finance roles within Eaton. Each participant will have a chance to learn from Treasury team leaders while also working to solve real-world word challenges that directly affect the company.

In this function you will:

  • Engage with Sr. Manager of Treasury Initiatives to track progress on projects, prioritize activities, and ensure yearly department goals are achieved
  • Collaborate with the Treasury Systems team to solve issues and manage E-Banking requirements with our core banking group
  • Assist in Treasury Management System (Quantum) month end processes
  • Drive accuracy in our Treasury liquidity forecast
  • Participate in cross-functional projects that drive the goals of the organization (i.e. partner with EHS, SCM, Legal, other)
  • Identify opportunities to adopt best practices, minimize risks, and manage projects and system implementations
  • Research and recommend solutions to critical Treasury initiatives (such as boosting working capital, cash forecasting, bank connectivity, etc.).

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate finance/treasury
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates currently located within a 50 mile radius of Beachwood, OH will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Data Analytics
  • Skilled in creating & maintaining Power BI dashboards
  • Knowledge of FIS Quantum
  • Understanding of or experience in core Treasury roles (interest rates, cash management, bank account management, cash forecasting, internal funding)
  • Understanding of Treasury systems and e-banking applications.
