Role Description:

We are looking for people experienced with building data warehouses and analytics systems in the cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP). 

What we are looking for:

A Hakkoda Lead Analytic Engineer is passionate about creating innovative data and analytic solutions for our customers and our team. As a Lead, you will be responsible for leading engagements and teams in the design, and development of Snowflake Data Cloud solutions. This work includes collecting and analyzing data to identify trends and provide clients with valuable information that they can use to improve overall business operations. The main duties include identifying, gathering, analyzing data and making their insights accessible to the company through easy-to-understand graphs, charts, tables and reports. You will be working closely with data engineers, asset owners and team experts and will have responsibilities across different dimensions. You will support the experts in the development of new tools and/or the maintenance of current proprietary databases especially through database structuring, developing workflow processes and reporting. 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent area.

- 5+yrs in related technical roles, data management, database development, ETL, and/or data analysis domains.

- Good understanding of data prep, analytics and visualization tools like R, Python, Power BI and Tableau.

- Experience with SQL scripting, Python and Cloud infrastructure is a plus.

- Advanced understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, data lakes and big-data concepts.

- Experience with business intelligence / data analytics.

- Ability to prepare reports and present to internal and customer stakeholders.

- Track record of sound problem solving skills and action oriented mindset.

- Strong interpersonal skills including assertiveness and ability to build strong client relationships.

- Ability to work in Agile teams.

- Experience hiring, developing and managing a technical team.

- Advanced English.
