SUMMARY

ANSYS, Inc. seeks Lead Application Developer to work in Canonsburg, PA and various unanticipated locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide technical leadership for and enforcement of application development lifecycle processes and strategies, and design and develop complex custom features and enhancements to business applications, development platforms or environments.
• Serve as a lead technologist for one or more applications, development platforms, development tools or technologies.
• Lead a software development team, including assigning tasks, reviewing code, technical grooming of backlog, and monitoring work to ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables.
• Project manage Run The Business (RTB) and Improve The Business (ITB) projects.
• Gather requirements for, design, develop, test and document solutions for complex business and technical problems.
• Analyze the business requirements, create design documentation, develop, and test the applications using Java, J2EE.
• Develop various components in the application using Web Services, AEM.
• Create UI frameworks using Java Script, Jquery, AJAX, HTML, CSS.
• Create unit test cases and support the Integration and Performance testing.
• Document and communicate the impact of issues and strategies to resolve issues to senior IT and Business management.
• Communicate with stakeholders to solve broad problems and support all environments; understand the dependencies and relationships between end-to-end business processes and the supporting infrastructure.
• Mentor other developers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or a related field of study, and seven (7) years of experience in a related occupation supporting enterprise business systems, application development, and system integration.
• Work experience or academic coursework must have included: Java, J2EE, Web Services, Java Script, Jquery, AJAX, HTML, CSS, AEM, CMS, OSGi, Apache Sling, and Junit.
• This is a work from home opportunity.
