Overview:

T. Rowe Price Associates Inc. seeks a Lead Architect in Owings Mills, MD for:

• Specializing in the Salesforce platform, responsible to design and develop IT architecture (integrated process, applications, data, and technology) solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards.
• Support and enhance capabilities being delivered in support of sales organization in the context of Salesforce and related technologies.
• Perform technical planning, architecture development, and modification of specifications as well as develop specifications for new products/services, applications, and service offerings.
• Assess compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies.

Requirements:

• Position requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a closely related technical field plus 3+ years of experience developing in the Salesforce platform (including key platform components such as Apex, Lightning Apps/Components, etc.) and Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Streaming/Events).
• The position requires 3+ years of experience in integration patterns (synchronous, asynchronous, bulk), limits, error handling, effective testing, and common architecture frameworks and models.
• Requires Salesforce certifications or at least 3+ years of experience developing/architecting in the Salesforce platform and related technologies.
