Position Overview
We are seeking a Lead Architect, ECS Solutions to lead the creation of a high-profile team within Enterprise Customer Success (ECS) vital to making Customer Success and Autodesk even more transformative and impactful for our customers.
In the role of Lead Architect, ECS Solutions you will be a senior manager and leader on the ECS Practice & Innovation team responsible for leading a team of Solution Architects to release high-value, replicable solutions for our customers that will be used on a global scale across our enterprise field teams.
Throughout the solution life cycle, you will lead a team of highly skilled solution architects to build, improve, track, and maintain the solutions. You will articulate the vision of our solutions and enterprise architectures to internal stakeholders and at times to customers directly. You will have direct involvement in defining how we develop the solutions and offerings that will continue to demonstrate our thought leadership within Autodesk, with our customers, and in industry.
The position location is open to all regions in the USA and will require travel to Autodesk work locations globally. Global locations outside the USA will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and maintain replicable solutions in collaboration with our Solution Development team
- Track solution adoption by our customers and internal teams
- Define and regularly publish a roadmap of our solutions
- Hire and build a team of Solution Architects
- Influence the definition of future solutions and service offerings for ECS
- Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders across Autodesk teams on our solutions and solution roadmap
- Maintain a comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of consulting solutions, Autodesk technology, and insights into industry best practices, trends, and gaps
- Provide thought leadership to a global cohort of SMEs in Autodesk on best practices for solution development and delivery
Minimum Qualifications
- Must possess an excellent ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences, to elicit feedback and discussion, and to listen to others
- Must have experience building a team and growing / coaching the individuals on it
- Must have hands-on experience in the consulting industry developing and delivering custom solutions that use Autodesk Product APIs
- Must have a solid working knowledge of software development lifecycle processes
- Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time, including international travel

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $138,200 and $223,520. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
