Required Skills

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Architect with 15 to 19 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical skills in Generative AI and Amazon Code Whisperer AWS Bedrock (image and text) Amazon Comprehend Medical AWS Open Search Amazon Comprehend Amazon Sagemaker Amazon Document DB AWS Lambda Node.js and Python. Additionally domain expertise in Property & Casualty Insurance is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable and secure cloud architectures using AWS services.
• Oversee the integration of Amazon CodeWhisperer and AWS Bedrock for image and text processing.
• Provide expertise in Amazon Comprehend Medical to enhance data analytics in healthcare applications.
• Utilize AWS Open Search to develop and maintain efficient search solutions.
• Implement machine learning models using Amazon Sagemaker for predictive analytics.
• Manage and optimize Amazon DocumentDB for high-performance database solutions.
• Develop serverless applications using AWS Lambda and Node.js.
• Write and maintain Python scripts for automation and data processing tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in Property & Casualty Insurance.
• Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Mentor junior architects and engineers to foster a culture of continuous learning.
• Drive innovation by staying updated with the latest AWS technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Possess a deep understanding of AWS services including Amazon CodeWhisperer AWS Bedrock and Amazon Comprehend.
• Demonstrate proficiency in developing applications using Node.js and Python.
• Have extensive experience in Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
• Show expertise in machine learning and data analytics using Amazon Sagemaker and Amazon Comprehend Medical.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Display excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Hold a relevant AWS certification such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Professional.

The annual salary for this position is between $[151000 – 175000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
