In This Role You Will

• Manage, mentor, lead by example and advocate for a team of Backend engineers
• Work with design, production, and other departments to manage the development and deployment of Backend features
• Design, implement and champion new processes that improve the workflow and environment of your team
• Write and maintain technical documentation to improve your team's ability to work more effectively
• Drive recruitment, interview & grow the engineering team
• Writing robust, maintainable Backend code

What We're Looking For

• Comfortable communicating with other team members on a daily basis
• Enthusiastic about mentoring and serving others to empower them to success
• Excel at problem-solving and troubleshooting
• Proactive approach to automated testing, writing unit tests, integration tests etc. AWS/Docker/Git/SQL/NoSQL/Rest
• Keen eye for improving the workflow and environment of others
