Lead Business Analyst - Eagle Performance Measurement & Reporting

Nuveen Operations Technology is looking for a Lead Business Analyst with Investment Performance & Reporting experience using Eagle Performance Module to join our Product Delivery team. Working closely with business users and the Performance Management Engineering team, the Lead Business Analyst will help establish a product roadmap and execute that roadmap. Additionally, this role will interact heavily with various business stakeholders to document business and functional requirements related to multiyear roadmap projects. Candidate will be expected to work on both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies. Business areas supported include Strategic Product Launches, Investment Accounting, Cash Management & Corporate Actions.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify gaps, issues, and potential areas for improvement in existing systems, processes, and workflows.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to define and prioritize product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives and goals.
• Develop and document detailed user stories, use cases and functional specifications based on business requirements.
• Contribute and own a solution from ideation to implementation to maintenance and support.
• Work closely with product engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements and provide guidance throughout the development lifecycle.
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system functionality and ensure it aligns with business needs.
• Provide ongoing support and solicit user feedback for continuous improvement.
• Actively participate in agile practice, such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups, to contribute to the delivery of high-quality product.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in asset management operations and IT systems to identify opportunities for innovation and process optimization.

Required Skills:

• 5+ Years of progressive work experience in the investment management space focusing Investment Accounting, Cash Management, Corporate Actions and Performance Measurement and Reporting using Eagle Performance Module
• Strong investment performance measurement knowledge across Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives and Alternate assets
• Deep knowledge on Eagle Performance Module, Account Structure and Benchmark, performance measurement construction, data enrichment, GIPS composite constructions and Eagle Datamart is a must

Preferred Skills:

• Strong working knowledge integrating with FactSet vendor on Benchmarks and Index Processing
• Strong communication and written skills along with experience working with fast phased agile environment
• Experience with ETF processing & Middle-office outsourcing would be a plus

Base Pay Range: $117,400/yr. - $183,500/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
