Lead Business Analyst – Label Systems, Global Technology
Job Description
The Lead Business Analyst ā Label Systems, Global Technology will be responsible for leading various aspects of Sony Musicās Console Recording & Marketing solution with a focus on Financial reporting. Ā This person must work in a team-based environment and exhibit strong communication skills (written & verbal) in order to interact effectively with fellow team members, business users and other Global Tech groups.Ā This person will be expected to problem-solve across a variety of situations to identify any data-related reporting issues and be comfortable addressing high-priority financial reporting system issues on a global basis.
What you'll do:- Manage reporting needs of all Console users, including support of Console reporting views and related pivot tables
- Address all issues related to daily Console accruals and related month-end reporting discrepancies, which includes working across both Console & SAP teams
- Engage with Labels and business units regularly to identify and document new reporting needs
- Provide second level Console training and support as needed to supplement the Console support them
- Manage and maintain advanced reporting tools, including PowerBI, to continuously offer improvements to current reporting suite
- Lead conversations with Developers to review system requirements
- 5-10 years experience in a professional business environment/providing financial system support
- Strong Experience with Excel pivot tables, Power BI, MS Access, etc
- Demonstrated self-starter who can complete projects with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to write a complete, detailed requirements document that describes a significant enhancement or new system
- Ability to communicate effectively via email with business users, team-members, and other IT groups
- Excellent at setting user expectations regarding general system support as well as for enancements & bug fixes
- Ability to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, while under high pressure to meet critical deadlines

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $110,000 to $130,000. This range does not include any otherĀ compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for.Ā Ā The actual baseĀ salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of theĀ individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level ofĀ education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which theĀ applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
