Lead Business Analyst (Revport) (Hybrid - Flexible Options)

We are looking for a Business Analyst Team Leader to join our team. In this role you will implement the Revport billing solution for clients in the finance sector. Revport is a fee and invoice billing software for Asset Managers that automates revenue management. You will analyze a customer's business and technical requirements, and deliver a billing solution with Revport as the key software. You will be expected to understand the client's business processes, working with Senior Analysts. You will ensure appropriate communication amongst the entire project team and stakeholders, while ensuring that a proper Revport billing solution is provided based on their strong understanding of the customer's business and billing calculation requirements.

This role is expected to have notable experience with billing practices in the financial industry and a track record of driving process, project, and product change. In this position you will work closely with a wide range of business stakeholders to understand existing business workflows with the objective of identifying ways they can be improved or automated. As a result, person will be expected to hold meetings, research processes and best practices, collect data, analyze information, and performing related tasks. You will also be closely involved in documenting procedures and present new process designs to stakeholders for discussion and sign off.

To be successful in this role, you must be able to understand the holistic business, appreciate project objectives, identify appropriate measurements, and be able to apply your understanding of operational efficiency to organize improvement initiatives.

Duties:

• Align day-to-day business analyst implementation and project tasks.
• Coordinate core and contingency assignments while tracking deliverables through agreed timelines.
• Applicant will need to have strong sense of urgency, superior organizational skills and ability to successfully interface with clients.
• Learn and support the Revport billing platform
• Ensures methodologies, delivery processes, and implementation management processes are followed
• Lead process redesign efforts and presenting solutions for stakeholder sign off
• Interpret data from multiple external sources, perform research to define various data points, and develop specifications to extract and map source data into standard data sets
• Balance business and technology issues as well as communicate appropriately with both technology and business.
• Conduct analysis of business issues and challenges.
• Identify Business Analyst strengths and weaknesses and suggest areas of improvement.
• Recommend solutions to improve business decision-making with a focus on the core systems, technology strategies and standards.
• Work with clients to define and execute test scenarios and ensure appropriate end user training
• Perform analysis of requests for system development/maintenance and determine the most effective approach.
• Work closely with the development team, develop project and program documentation and specifications including Functional and Technical Requirements documentation.
• Develop target achievements and completion dates and enforce to an agreed upon schedule.
• Timely communication of project statuses
• Be responsive to all production problems assigned

Qualifications and Competencies

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Finance, or equivalent subject area
• 8+ years experience as a Business Analyst in Wealth Management, Institutional, Mutual Fund or related businesses
• Superb analytical skills and persistence/creativity in problem solving
• Superior written and verbal communication
• Experience supporting applications in the cloud
• Prior Bonaire Revport experience (or FiServ Advantage, Quartal Fee Manager, Redi2 Revenue Manager) a plus
• Demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm to learn and excel in a dynamic team
• Competencies in Excel, SQL and software reporting tools (Jasper, Tableau, Snowflake, Power BI)

Salary Range: $130,000 to $140,000 Annual

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
