We are looking for a Lead Business Intelligence Engineer experienced in guiding a team of engineers through the process of implementing complex data analytics solutions from end to end. This person will have strong expertise in Looker, and provide thought leadership and assistance to clients with defining their data architecture and analytic strategies in GCP, Azure, and AWS.

Your Life As A Maven:

• Perform overall architecture, design, performance tuning, cost management of analytical solutions
• Provide thought leadership and assistance to clients with defining their data architecture and analytic strategies on GCP, AWS, Azure
• Implement end to end data analytics solutions (from data ingestion through visualization) for large scale, complex client environments
• Lead a team of data analytic engineers in designing, developing, and deploying  high performance data analytic solutions.
• Communicate complex technical topics to non-technical business and senior executives and assist with scoping, architecting and selling cloud data solutions.

Your Expertise:

• 5+ years of implementing and managing BI platforms for business intelligence, data applications, and embedded analytics
• 3+ years experience with Looker, LookML
• Motivated self-starter, with the ability to take an ambiguous analytical question and transform it into structured, data-driven analysis
• In-depth expertise with modern analytics tools and techniques, including Tableau, PowerBI , Datorama, Looker, Microstrategy, and related technologies
• Ability to brainstorm Looker solutions to recommend appropriate analytics / KPIs
• Passion for solving business problems through the use of data
• Knowledge of how data is structured and an understanding of data governance best practices and methods
• Collect requirements from cross-department stakeholders to design and implement sophisticated data models in SQL and LookML for end user consumption inside Looker
• Expert knowledge of SQL and LookML
• Experience in creating dashboard filters, LOOKML filters, data groups, Dashboards Alerts and navigation of dashboard from links.
• Experience in creating dimensions, measures, parameters using LOOKML code. Creating derived tables and PDT to enhance the speed of execution of the dashboard.
• Experience in creating model files, manifest files, explores in Looker
• Experience in Data visualizations, Scheduling and sharing Looks and dashboards
• Experience in embedding data visualization platforms into customer or public facing applications. 
• Experience with data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery, RedShift) or Python scripting is a plus
