Role

As our business grows, we're seeking someone who is passionate about people, is a strategic thinker and planner, has a natural ability to influence senior-level leaders, and who can execute on multiple projects at a time. The Lead Business Readiness will shape how we collaborate with partners to intake and prioritize business unit gaps impacting the ability of teammates to do their jobs well. This role will plan, coordinate and execute on the business unit activities related to building education and understanding in support of teammate performance. This could include supporting managers and teammates to deepen their knowledge of job roles and responsibilities, procedures, and processes through communications and training solutions. This role is responsible for planning and ensuring the success of these activities, inclusive of deliverable creation.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with partners to develop the business unit strategy to intake and prioritize gaps impacting teammate performance that complement the business unit portfolio of initiatives
  • Lead meetings with senior leaders to prioritize teammate performance needs; guiding and influencing meeting discourse to achieve objectives
  • Drive outcomes with cross-functional team members and stakeholders, including creating relevant solutions & materials focused on building education and understanding of critical business gaps
  • Ensure all materials are excellent, reflect our brand, align with our corporate culture
  • Drive work efforts and measure the success of business readiness activities, including impacts to stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with the Talent team to support training efforts: serve as the business unit point of contact, define rules of engagement, lead the intake process, and provide input on training needs prioritization
  • Work collaboratively with the Enterprise Change Management team and Enterprise Internal Communications team as needed

Education/Certifications

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Organizational Development or equivalent education and experience required; MBA or Master's degree preferred

Experience/Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) or more years of relevant experience in a consulting or industry role, managing projects in a fast-paced business environment
  • Minimum five (5) or more years of experience applying project management principles to track, monitor and report project against project timeline, milestones, etc.
  • Excellent technical skills in PowerPoint

Organizational Relationship

Reports to: Sr Manager Communications

Working Conditions: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in your assigned office approximately 60% of the time (3 days per week) and where you do your best work 40% (2 days per week). There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that could require travel.
