Lead Business Solutions Architect - Parametric
Job Description
This role is part of Parametric's hybrid working model, which includes working in the office 2-3 days a week and choosing to work remotely or in the office the remaining days of the week.
General Description
The Lead Business Solutions Architect develops enterprise-level solutions which create or integrate central services used across the technology and business platforms. They are responsible for analyzing and translating complex business, application, information, and technical requirements into a blueprint that outlines scalable solutions to achieve business objectives across multiple disciplines. They can manage projects and team members surrounding high-level initiatives to propose changes in function, process, policy, and standards to accelerate development and execute company objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
- Apply abstract thinking to architect strategic solutions to complete enterprise-level objectives and central services primarily focused on Investment Operations.
- Partner with the business, data experts, and stakeholders, including the Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams to propose and lead necessary functionality in our systems and central services.
- Subject-matter-expert of scalable lifecycles and workflows relating to Investment Operations such as Investment Security Universe, Accounting, and Account Mastering.
- Facilitate bridging the gap between the business users and technology through research and translation of information.
- Define, manage, and lead clear goals, phases, or team members dedicated to high-level initiative projects.
- Analyze current technologies used within the company and determine ways to improve.
- Translate complex requirements into detailed specifications for proposed solutions.
- Create appropriate business requirements and acceptance criteria when needed.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related area of study OR equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of experience
o 5+ years of experience leading complex development and integration projects across multiple disciplines, and
o 2+ years of experience with database design or data reporting tools such as Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
o Experience with Bloomberg Data & ETL tools preferred
- Proven IT delivery background using abstract thinking to understand, lead, and create solutions.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be a self-starter, detail-oriented with ability to exercise good judgment and decision-making.
- Proven strengths in managing projects to completion and meeting objectives.
Wage Transparency Statement
Salary range for the position: $110,000 - $225,000/Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
