Lead Business Systems Specialist - Accounting & Finance

The Lead Business Systems Specialist will guide the business to operate more efficiently and effectively through partnering with IT to design and implement business capabilities through information technology systems. The business systems specialist will act as a bridge between departments to help IT members understand business objectives and requirements, as well as help stakeholders utilize the full functionality of the systems available.

The ideal candidate will be able to analyze, recommend and implement business systems in support of the goals and business objectives of Accounting Finance and all the systems projects Accounting Finance participates in. You will take the lead to manage projects on initiatives with a willingness to go above and beyond to get the job completed in both a timely and accurate manner. You will also oversee process prioritization in close partnership with the IT Department.

What you do

• Work independently to review changes and recommend improvements.
• Recommend and implement configuration changes.
• Review and collaborate on documented requirements.
• Execute changes according to change management protocol.
• Operationally support third party application systems.
• Validate system changes.
• Analyze anomalies within a variety of systems.
• Ensure the system supports the business process.
• Develop and manage the reporting from production systems and data lake.
• Develop business processes and systems knowledge.
• Creation of business requirements for enhancements and upgrades.

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 4-7+ years system analysis work experience
• Report and analytics development experience preferred in tools such as Power BI, Smartview, FRS, Dataiku, Excel, Cognos, or Tableau
