Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks and be able to lead a team effectively on construction sites. This role requires expertise in both residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Duties • Oversee and coordinate carpentry projects from start to finish, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met. • Utilize power tools and hand tools for tasks such as framing, siding, cabinet installation, and roofing. • Conduct construction estimating to assess project needs and materials required. • Train and mentor junior carpenters, fostering a collaborative work environment. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations on the construction site and maintain a clean work area. • Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution. Skills • Proficient in using power tools and hand tools essential for carpentry tasks. • Strong knowledge of siding installation techniques and materials. • Experience in construction site management and safety protocols. • Ability to perform construction estimating accurately for project planning. • Skilled in cabinet installation, roofing techniques, masonry work, and stucco application. • Excellent leadership abilities with strong communication skills to effectively manage a team. • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship on all projects.
