Lead Carpenter – Restaurant Buildouts Location:Jacksonville, FL Pay:$32 – $40 per hour Schedule:Full-time | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Occasional Saturdays We are seeking an experienced and well-rounded Lead Carpenter with a strong background in restaurant buildouts to join our growing commercial construction team. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, takes pride in their work, and has proven leadership abilities in fast-paced jobsite environments. Key Responsibilities • Oversee and perform all aspects of restaurant interior buildouts, including framing, finish carpentry, trim, cabinetry, and millworkRead and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications • Lead and manage a small crew to ensure work is completed on time and to company standards • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsiteAdapt to shifting timelines and ensure project milestones are met Requirements • Minimum 10 years of professional carpentry experience, including restaurant/commercial buildouts • Must have own truck, trailer, and full set of tools • Experience leading teams on job sites is required • Ability to work independently and manage day-to-day site operations • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing deadlines • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and pride in workmanship • Familiarity with local building codes and ADA compliance is a plus Compensation • Hourly pay of $32 – $40 based on experience and capabilities What We Offer • Consistent project pipelineSupportive and professional team environment • Opportunities to grow with a company that values craftsmanship and leadership To ApplyPlease submit your resume along with references and any relevant photos of past work.
