Job Description

Ensure timely and accurate cash reconciliation and reporting for the Portfolio management teams. Interact with Portfolio Managers and Portfolio Manager Assistants to provide overdraft monitoring and notification to these teams. Job incumbent is expected to cross train and be multi-skilled in a variety of functions covering Trade Mgmt. (incl. Share Class Hedging processes), Derivatives, Corp Actions etc to provide broader operational support.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and coach direct reports, by providing work direction and support the global team across locations on process or procedures related to reconciliation and publishing of different funds. Assist and coach direct reports in resolving complex or high priority issues relating to reconciling and publishing, or respond to and resolve such issues directly, as necessary.

Work with staff to deal with changes resulting from new organization, systems, regulations, security types, turnover, job responsibility changes, and readiness to handle the increasing complexity of Global Operations. Guide staff in identifying career objectives and development plans. Keep team engaged and motivated . Attend team meetings, lead regular meetings as required, leading business initiatives and other administrative responsibilities for the team. 

Manage direct report workload and provide guidance in prioritizing work to meet or exceed all accuracy, processing, and work quality metrics and standards. Participate in and provide subject matter expertise on cross-functional projects and/or process improvement teams that have implications to the job area

Required to participate in standardization and continuous improvement initiatives as well as other business partner initiatives, be flexible and change ready in a dynamic work environment. Among other things, to maintain close contact with customer / business partners, Technologies and other interface groups. 

Communicate with various internal & external departments as needed. Required to consistently work towards anticipating, meeting and exceeding Portfolio Manager’s, Portfolio Manager Assisants and Trader’s requirements whilst ensuring effective teamwork at all times.


Required Qualifications
MBA-Finance or B.Com with 6+ years work experience.

Capital Market theoretical knowledge
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Work, Excel, and Outlook.
Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to be an effective team player.
Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

and sound analytical skills.
Experience on Investment accounting or Cash Reconciliations.
Experience with trading tools, like Aladdin and GIM E3.
