Our SaaS DATA Platform combines deep expertise in life sciences and medical disciplines with mathematical capabilities in data computing.

Requirements
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Technical Design and implementation activities to evolve Sophia’s cloud infrastructure solutions and services that meet the needs of our customers , engineers, data scientists and internal users to create scalable cloud architecture and services
- Technical consultant to product development teams
- Conducting solution architecture of specific modules to continuously improve and evolve the Sophia DDM Platform architecture to support additional modalities and applications
- Working with DevOps/SRE/Infra teams to Automate the cloud environment with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as a code
- Definition and implementation of security strategies and regulatory / compliance needs
- Defining cloud technologies roadmap and evolution to take advantages of continuous innovation of cloud technologies.
- Motivate and inspire the team by promoting positive communication, encouraging participation of all team members, and demonstrating flexibility
- As a Technical Lead provide leadership to a cross functional team in context of projects and initiatives
Requirements and Skills
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science or a healthcare related informatics field
- 7+ years of practical hands-on experience with architecting, development, and implementation of large-scale enterprise-level solutions, including could-based solutions
- Solid knowledge of cloud foundation principles and standards; ideally, hands-on working experience with Microsoft Azure products & solutions. Wide-ranging experience in deploying, debugging, and managing systems in cloud environments such as Azure
- Proven experience with data warehousing and supporting business intelligence initiatives using enterprise-class databases
- Experience with key DevOps technologies in Azure, including Hybrid, Serverless, IaaS, Automation, and tools for CI/CD services.
- Strong programming skills, knowledge of programming languages, such as SQL, Python, working knowledge of DataBricks and/or Snowflake
- Strong experience with highly scalable and distributed databases and the key issues affecting their performance and reliability
- Preferred experience working with data/Big Data for healthcare including genomics, imaging and EHR
- Successful track record of delivering results on scope, on time, on budget
- Thorough Security and Data Governance experience and skills
- Knowledge of HIPPA and privacy regulations regarding patient data security and/or research related practices is a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to work in a highly collaborative team
