Description

We are looking for a well-rounded individual that has experience with many different application infrastructure technologies. Someone who likes the challenge of learning new technologies, and then developing architectures and designs for those new technologies. Someone who will work directly with key stakeholders to define problems and determine solution requirements. This person will lead a small team of infrastructure architects, on a highly collaborative team, working together to engineer infrastructure solutions for Humana Military. Responsibilities

The Lead Cloud Architect performs technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications. Develops specifications for new IT infrastructure products and service offerings. Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Required Qualifications

  • Our Department of Defense contract requires U.S. citizenship for this position.
  • If offered a position with Humana Government Business you will be required to go through the eQIP process to obtain Government Security Clearance to work on government systems.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience
  • 6 Years or more of IT Infrastructure experience
  • 3 Years of Cloud Administrator or Cloud Engineering Experience
  • 2 years of hands on experience deploying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to cloud environments
  • Experience with Automating processes using CI/CD pipeline
  • Experience utilizing Source Control preferably Git
  • Microsoft Azure certifications ( Associate Level or Higher ) or Equivalent Cloud Experience
  • Exceptional Communication Skills , Written and Verbal
  • Experience integrating new technologies with existing technologies, and implementing with enterprise-wide impact
  • Experience in Networking and Load Balancing
  • Experience in Windows and Linux OS Systems


Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in a Technical Field
  • 2 or more years of Kubernetes/Container experience with deployment , migration , and management
  • Experience with Cloud Networking, Azure Firewall, Azure Load Balance, Azure Application Gateway, Etc.
  • Embraces working in Agile work environment
