As a Lead Cloud Developer, you will be a part of a highly dynamic and innovative development team working on the latest technologies in the exciting fast growing Digital Health space. We're a team of thinkers and innovators who constantly challenge ourselves to do everything better than the day before, so that people around the world can breathe easier.

You will be part of a full stack team of cloud (AWS) engineers and mobile (iOS and Android) and be responsible for delivering the best-in-class patient product experience, all built using the latest tech stacks of serverless on AWS. You will work closely with talented engineers, product managers, customers, architects, and various stakeholders to deliver our best-in-class mobile applications.

This is a remote role for U.S based applicants. There will be occasional travel to our San Diego office as needed.

Let's talk about the role:

• Responsible for developing our best-in-class AWS serverless applications
• Lead technical design discussions that produces high-performance, highly scalable and resilient software components
• Design and implement key elements of core infrastructure to support other delivery teams
• Collaborate with other engineers and product owners to identify best in class software solutions to complex problems in our industry
• Take a quality-first approach to software development by producing unit tests and automate functional testing as much as possible
• Conduct code reviews with other developers, including security checks
• Mentoring junior members of the team
• Participate in technical interviews

Let's talk about you:

• Bachelor's degree required
• You must be a seasoned AWS developer, with at least 8 years of cloud development experience
• Hands on experience developing serverless apps for at least 4 years, including use of Lambda, DynamoDb, SNS, SQS. AppSync desirable.
• 3+ years of experience serving as a Technical Leader
• Expert in Python
• Experience designing and architecting Cloud applications and understand various design patterns
• Experience with use of CICD and automated testing frameworks
• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience operating large cloud systems at scale
