Role Summary: As a Lead Azure Cloud Engineer at Bounteous x Accolite, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions to drive the digital transformation initiatives of our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructures.

Information Security Responsibilities

• Awareness on information security measures such as acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, password security
• Understand and report security risks and how they impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
• Understand how data is stored, processed, or transmitted from a Data privacy and protection standpoint

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure with a primary focus on Azure.
• Implement best practices for Azure cloud architecture and governance.
• Automate cloud operations and workflows using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Monitor and optimize Azure cloud performance, security, and cost.
• Collaborate with development teams to support continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitLab.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Manage and integrate DevTools such as SonarQube and Artifactory for efficient development and deployment processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in cloud engineering or similar roles, with significant expertise in Azure.
• Strong understanding of Azure cloud security, networking, and cost management.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab.
• Knowledge of DevTools such as SonarQube for code quality and Artifactory for artifact management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Experience with serverless architectures and microservices.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Familiarity with data engineering and analytics services in the cloud.
