The Lead Collibra Developer role provides technical data engineering and software development support to deploy a Collibra architecture that enables Quantum Health's data governance and metadata management processes and data governance operating model. To be successful in this role, the Collibra Developer lead should have hands-on experience developing workflows, managing assets, and leveraging Collibra's connectors to disparate source systems. The Collibra Developer should be comfortable interfacing and educating developers, leaders, and business partners as Quantum continues to mature our data management practices.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain Collibra workflows required by the Data Governance Council and other data governance stakeholders with Eclipse development software.
• Implement Collibra integration connectors to ingest data from various data repository, BI and engineering technologies with data lineage - Snowflake, Tableau, PowerBI, AWS S3, AWS DynamoDB, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Confluent Kafka, Salesforce, MarkLogic and other Collibra Marketplace connectors, as well as develop customer connectors with Collibra APIs as needed.
• Maintain Collibra operating model for business, data and data governance assets for the Collibra Data Catalog, Business Glossary and Metrics Certification.
• Partner with Infosec to implement LDAP role based Collibra security model for Quantum Health's infrastructure team's administration of users.
• Maintain Collibra Counsel for configuration of nodes, backups and other environment settings. Develop Collibra data governance and administration automation with Collibra APIs.
• Maintain Collibra Data Quality module ecosystem with Quantum Health Infosec and Infrastructure teams within Quantum Health domain/firewalls.
• Serves as the lead engineer at Quantum Health to collaborate with Collibra engineers to optimize Collibra's application of features at Quantum Health, and Quantum Health engineers to develop, deploy and maintain Collibra's AWS environment.
• All other duties as assigned.

What you'll bring

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, Statistics, Healthcare Informatics, Mathematics or related field.
• 5+ years of data engineering, metadata management, and master data management experience
• At least 1 successful implementation with the Collibra data governance suite for data catalog, business glossary, metrics certification and data quality.
• Proficiency in relational SQL and NoSQL database technologies to include NoSQL document, graph and columnar databases as well as NoSQL KVP stores and data streaming technologies such as Kafka, SQS, SNS and like technologies and how their structured and semi-structured schemas are cataloged in Collibra.
• At least 3 years experience working with data governance processes and data stewardship.
• At least 3 years experience developing data lineage in data governance tooling.
• At least 3 years experience working with vendor engineers to deploy and maintain their software product within the organization, preferably Collibra, Informatica or a similar metadata management and data governance tool.
• At least 3 years experience working on agile development teams using scrum or Kanban to plan and execute work in an adaptive manner through well-crafted story cards.
• Proficiency in data governance and metadata management.
• Experience in working with Security and Privacy professionals to properly secure sensitive privacy data based on security classifications.
• Effective communication skills to translate stakeholder functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Ability to build data behavior consensus across the enterprise by collaborating with business leaders and stakeholders that create, consume, alter or depend on data to deliver business value.
• Strong administrative/technical skills; Comfort working on a PC using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), IM/video conferencing (Teams & Zoom), and telephones efficiently.
• Trustworthy and accountable behavior, capable of viewing and maintaining confidential information daily.
