Lead Content Production Strategist
Job Description
OLIVER is a global marketing agency that exclusively designs, builds, and runs bespoke in-house agencies and marketing ecosystems for brands. Our skilled creative talent are dedicated to high-profile clients and are based either onsite, near site, or offsite in our hubs.
We are looking for a Lead Content Production Strategist to work with a leading manufacturer of consumer-packaged goods on their Content and Production team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in content creation and localization for TVC, digital, print, eCommerce, and shopper marketing.
As a Lead Content Production Strategist, you must be a creative and strategic thinker, have a strong understanding of local insights, clear understanding of how to read and understand media plans and specs, have outstanding writing and problem-solving skills and be able to work collaboratively in a high-paced environment across multiple teams, organizations, and geographies.
This role will be client-facing, where there will be ongoing face-to-face meetings working closely with the client, and external, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and successful delivery of content to designated platforms. The ideal candidate will be data-informed to ensure we are looking at the entire ecosystem of content production to output relevant data/MI, tracking success rates on outputs, and ensuring we are leveraging this data within our approach.
What you will be doing:- Partner with the Global Content and Product team
- Ensure there is a clear understanding of Brand strategy articulated down to the local level
- Consult on production considerations for Global Production to have on hand
- Have a clear view and understanding of localization model to ensure it is utilized to its fullest potential
- Partner with team to assist with authoring local production briefs
- Responsible for consulting, governing, allocating, and overseeing the creation of localized content, liaising with key stakeholders, local markets, agency of records, Production/Martech Partners (with specialist capabilities) as required for the successful delivery of projects
- Oversee a busy ecosystem with an associated volume of multimedia content across a range of platforms
- Stay current on trends and competitive local media landscape to drive brand awareness and engagement
- Partner with creative agencies for cross-platform synergy of processes and operational efficiencies
- Account Management and stakeholder management to rightfully communicate with numerous teams
- Challenge ideas to fit the larger strategic plan
- Cross-question media plans and suggest revision to ensure content is designed to fit plans
- First point of escalation for Local Marketers and Production/Martech Partners
- Collaborate regularly with Content-at-Scale Production Team
- 6+ years of experience in account, project, and content production management with proven track knowledge of digital ad landscapes and nuances of how stories and assets might come together based on different media buys
- 5+ years of agency experience
- Knowledge of how content can be successfully delivered to a local market through storytelling, while fit for platform
- Experience with delivering regional omnichannel content (including multi-language) whilst maintaining adherence to global brand campaigns
- Demonstrated experience in video and still imagery production, production business affairs, and usage rights tracking
- Strong knowledge of local competitive media landscape is crucial
- Strong strategic thinker and resourceful problem-solver
- Content Production education, strategy, and innovation expertise in service to brand marketers
- Ability to influence, negotiate, and advise based upon what decision is being made to ensure we are creating value, delivering the most relevant messaging possible, and inspiring consumers to act at all points of their journey
- Compelling relationship builder with proven ability to gain respect, trust, and confidence of senior management, partners, and clients
- A passion for digital trends and deep knowledge of the local media landscape, channels, audience behavior, and best practices
- Ability to synthesize complex information or broad ideas into simple and actionable insights
- Great network of Production/MarTech contacts in relevant markets
- A keen eye for detail and out-of-the-box thinking
- Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
