The position of "Lead - CPD Customer Programs" is responsible for the program build-out, management and maintenance for CPD's highest level BSD accounts and online vertical markets. This position is responsible for building & executing complex customer solutions that frequently entail the deployment of sophisticated online, web-to-print technologies, and fulfillment programs that add significant value to CPD Solutions. The "Lead - CPD Customer Programs" works day-to-day in an advisory capacity directly with Customers' Marketing, E-Commerce, Operations, and Technology Teams to ensure successful development, deployment, and execution of complex web-to-print campaigns. This position requires frequent and face-to-face contact with key clients and the intricate components of the programs.

In addition, this individual project manages the activities of Customer Program Specialists, Outsource Services Team Members, and RPC Digital Production Teams to ensure that complex customer programs achieve the desired levels of customer satisfaction. This position monitors and reports directly to Customers' and CPD's senior leadership on the ongoing performance of all Office Depot Print & Services Solutions.

This position will design, implement and project manage customer programs using various tools within the Office Depot framework, inclusive of Web-to-Print and ODNet Production Quality Assurance Applications. Frequent management of key vendor resources will be required, as will ongoing partnership with internal Office Depot E-Commerce and IT Resources.

Primary Responsibility:

1. Develop complex, Web-to-Print and production fulfillment programs for key customers and select Vertical Markets such as K12 and Back-to-School initiatives. Function as a direct Subject Matter Expert for key customer contacts in Marketing, E-Commerce, IT, and Operations. Provide both creative and technical advice as needed.

2. Work directly with Key Customer Contacts, CPD Support and Production Teams and Contract Sales Reps to ensure that the day-to-day customer program solutions sustain forecasted revenues and committed customer service levels.

3. Manage CPD 3rd Party Technology, E-Commerce Vendors, and RPC Quality Assurance Applications engaged in the daily support of complex customer programs. Manage all 3rd Party Statements of Work (SOWs) through customer and ODP Arriba processes. And, daily monitors RPC Production Control Systems.

4. Design, develop, and deploy customized training and communication programs for key vertical market customers, CPD Sales Reps, NAR Print Centers, Outsource Services Partners, and Regional Print Centers.

5. Partner with CPD Analytics Team to conduct ongoing analysis to ensure that Office Depot's CPD Solutions meet both customer and department expectations.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Business Experience
  • Degree or equivalent experience in business or Graphic Communications
  • 5-7 Years of related experience
  • 3-5 years graphic communications industry experience with an emphasis on Web-to-Print and production management Technology Applications
  • In depth knowledge of online order management, sourcing, and production fulfillment systems and applications
  • Six Sigma or Lean Document Certifications (preferred)

Technical Competencies:

  • Experience in high SKU industries, systems sales and service driven strategies.
  • Responsible for CPD Field Support (communication, process, procedure and systems)
