Good news! 1WorldSync is looking for a Lead Cyber Security Engineer to join our team at our downtown Chicago headquarters.

1WorldSync is the industry leader in product content management. With 400 employees across the US, Brazil, Canada, Portugal, Switzerland, and the UK, we're seeking a Lead Cyber Security Engineer to support our growing global team.

Reporting directly to our VP, Technology Operations, the Lead Cyber Security Engineer will work closely with other technologists to ensure the secure function of mission critical internal and external facing systems.

As a Lead Cyber Security Engineer at 1WorldSync, responsibilities include the following:

• Maintain systems hardening and continue to develop security processes
• Utilize various security related tools for reporting and analysis
• Oversee security of systems in private colocation, Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure
• Support and troubleshoot security issues
• Help to configure secure web servers, load balancers, and proxies
• Maintain and support Tenable.io Tools.
• Maintain and support Sumo Logic SIEM
• Maintain and support Tanium endpoint management
• Maintain and support web application firewall tools
• Participate in security related implementations
• Participate in and follow security processes for the implementation and support of systems
• Support and adhere to 1WorldSync all ISMS security standards, processes, and policies
• Maintain proper documentation for systems, processes and procedures

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree
• A minimum of 5 years maintaining secure systems, and using security tools

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Ability to troubleshoot network issues in a TCP/IP OSI model
• 24/7 On-Call Schedule Rotation Responsibilities may be required
• The desire to solve problems, take on difficult challenges, and ability to find creative solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to project timelines.
• Excellent business process design and analytical skills
• The desire to stay abreast on updates and new releases in relevant technologies
• Experience as a Linux and or Windows Administrator
